Program Details
Curriculum:
- Days of study: Sunday to Thursday
Subjects:
- Development of communication skills in Arabic
- Grammar topics chosen to suit each group
- Discussion of literary texts suitable to each level
- Perusal of daily gazettes and discussing their contents as a means to improve communication
- Learning the Ruqa script of Arabic calligraphy
- Exposure to Jordanian culture by learning the Jordanian dialect
- Learning levels: the program is composed of different levels to suit the needs of the students. There will be three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The beginner level will be for students who do not know any Arabic. As for the intermediate and the advanced levels, students will be
- categorized according to their results in the placement test prepared by the
- Institute.
- The program is made of six classes which will take up between four and six hours depending on the preference of the contractor.
- Students will have the opportunity of participating in discussion sessions of various topics twice a week in evenings.
- There will be between 10 and 12 students in each class.
- This offer is only for groups of 50 or more students.
- The fees include tuition and transport from and to the airport in private
- buses.
- Each student will receive a certificate at the end of the program.
Touristic Trips:
Tours are also available with additional fees, four of them being outside of Amman and three inside Amman. The fees include any entry fees that would be required.
The trips outside of Amman will be as follows:
- The first trip will be to Wadi Rum and Aqaba. Including touring Petra, then going to Wadi Rum to watch the sunset on its red sands. The students will stay for dinner and breakfast, then set off the next day to Aqaba to see its markets, and sail on board a ship in the Red Sea. Then the will have lunch and return to Amman.
- The second trip will be to Madaba and the Dead Sea. The students will go to Madaba to visit Mount Nebo, then to the Dead Sea, to have lunch and spend the evening there.
- The third trip will be to Jarash and Ajloun. The students will visit the ancient ruins of Jerash and then the castle of Ajloun.
- The fourth trip will be to visit tombs of Sahaba.
The trips outside of Amman will be as follows:
- The first trip will be to Downtown Amman, Roman Amphitheater, and the Citadel Mountain.
- The second trip will be to the Sleepers of the Cave.
- The third trip will be to the Hijaz Railway.
