2020 Summer Program

Curriculum of Study

1. Subjects to be studied:
   1. Media jargon (reading and writing news, the writing and breakdown of news articles)
   2. Discussion of chosen literary texts
   3. Reading daily newspapers and discussing its content for developing conversation skills
   4. Development of Arabic conversation skills with general topics
   5. Arabic calligraphy in the Ruqa’ script
   6. Practical application of TV presentation in TV studios
   7. Jordanian culture in the Jordanian dialect (Amiyyah) 
2. Days of study: Sunday through Thursday, 4 hours per day
3. The weekly program consists of 6 subjects, each which will be taught by a teacher specialized in his field of study.
4. Twice a week, the students will be given the opportunity to participate in discussions featuring different topics.

Tours

The students will be taken on tours to touristic location in Jordan, including: Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba, the Dead Sea, and the Amman City Center.
