Goals of the diploma:
- Achieving proficiency in the Arabic language, including the four language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.
- Learning the three components of language: sounds and words, grammar, and spelling.
- Connecting with people of the language and gaining cultural sufficiency.
- Learning the Ruqa’ script in Arabic calligraphy.
- Qualifying the student to pursue Arabic language studies at Arab Universities.
Details of the diploma:
- Total hours: 300 hours
- Time period: 1 year, with 6 hours a week divided over either 2 or 3 days depending on preference of the enrolled students
- Based in Jordan, but also available online
Note:
- Upon starting the diploma, the student will receive a Student verification document from the University of Jordan.
- After completing the diploma, the student will receive a certificate from the University of Jordan, approved by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.
